The basis of the
Task-Manager Franchisee system is that new stock items can only be
created in head office to maintain consistency between all the
stores. These stock items can be sent out to the stores at any time
to update their stock file.
The method of sending
sales data can be via FTP (preferred option) or using remote access
products like PC-Anywhere to dial into each Franchise and transfer
the updates and bring back the sales information to head office. The
benefit of using the FTP option is that both computers don’t need
to be turned on at the same time to complete the transfer and it is
only a local phone call to your Internet Service Provider (ISP) for
all sites no matter where they are in the world.
The Task-Manager
Software will cater for 9,999 individual locations but these can be
broken up into regions or different States/Countries to allow
reporting by those areas. For example you could have 99 regions with
up to 99 areas in each region and 99 POS Terminals in each area.

Head Office is able
to view a fully detailed history of each transaction that is made at
the POS Terminals including any cancelled sales, credit sales,
credit items, discounts, voids, no-sales etc. This is a big
difference from previous systems available in the market that would
only show you a sales summary of the total amount sold for each
product without any breakdown of when it was sold, who sold it and
what it was sold with.
A number of other
comparison reports are available that allow you to compare store
sales data and a Custom Report Generator is available to allow
customers to generate any reports that may not be available in the
list of over 220 existing reports.
